Hello! This week I'm showing you my VERY FIRST EVER "MAN CARD"! LOL! My Father-in-law's birthday will be coming soon and he has pointed out several times that I never make him anything. But then I always remind him of all the zucchini bread I'm always baking for him. :) It's high time I attempted a masculine card anyways, especially since I'm surrounded by men and boys at my house. :) This horse stamp is one I picked up last October at our local rubber stamp show. When I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for my father-in-law since he loves and owns horses. I've been saving it to make a nice card for him. I've used the Real Wood Papers you can find at McMahon Five Designs Store in this card. I simply stamped and embossed the horses right onto the Bird's Eye Wood Paper and then decided to let the beauty of the wood shine through. The background paper is the Rosewood Wood Paper which I also used on the inside of my card too. :)
Here is the inside of the card. I added a little image of a barn because I felt like it was appropriate too. :) Thanks so much for visiting with me again this week. I hope you will all take some time to play along with us at the Midnight Madness!
This week we have a new sponsor, Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Be sure to take a look at the fun offerings of their store when you get a minute. Thank you to our sponsor this month, D'Amour Allure. :) D'Amour Allure was formed as a result of a love for papercrafting and rubber stamps. A special group of friends, put ideas together for a wide range of stamps. Their stamps include vintage styles to character art. This is so beautiful and classy. What a great image to create a masculine card. I know he will love and appreciate it, especially from such a sweet daughter-in-law as yourself. Besides, he is just on the edge of his seat waiting for you to make him something! Tell us his reaction when you give it to him. Can't wait to hear.
