My son, Alex's vision brought to life... :)

So, yesterday while we were at Sam's Club, Alex found this ugly stuffed toy called an "Ugly Doll". He really wanted it, but I told him I wasn't gonna pay whatever the price was. I told him we could make one for less. Well, I should know better.... Alex was not going to let me off the hook. He drew what he wanted and I made a simple pattern and used leftover felt and stuffing I've had from years gone by.
Here is Alex's very own "Ugly Doll". Totally a "Boy" thing. He's been carrying it around all evening and says he's taking it to school tomorrow for sharing time. He's already told me that we should make them and sell them! LOL! Yeah, right! I told him I am going to make one for myself. Probably not black though. :)

How fun. Think of the absolute wonderful memories that were made in the creation of this. You can't put a price on that!!!!
