Christmas Poinsettia ~ MMSC33

Here we are friends! Just a few short days before Christmas! I hope everyone is happily preparing to enjoy the day with family and friends. :) I've been wanting to make a poinsettia card for some time and have finally done it! I bought this unmounted stamp at our local rubber stamp show in October and just gold embossed it right onto this mauve colored dp several times so I could layer it. How easy! The only part I painted were the leaves and then added a little bit of yellow Stickles for the centers. I've spent SO much time in the past several weeks tending to REAL poinsettias in my day job of interior plant care. So, the fact that the poinsettia on this card cannot wilt from dryness or drown from over watering is a wonderful relief! Although this is a busy time of the season for so many of us, I hope some o you will find a little bit of extra time to join us at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. If not, no worries... We have lots of fun in store for the New Year! :)
The Midnight Madness Masterpiece award this week goes to:
Teri Sherman #13

And the Midnight Madness Remarkables awards this week goes to:
Sue Drees #20
Ms Plum #21

Congrats ladies! We love that you come and play with us each week! :)

I hope everyone has a blessed and Merry Christmas! Stay safe! :)

Michelle, your pink pointsettia is beautiful and what a fabulous idea to stamp it on the pink dp!! I need to try that one! I planted some poinsettias two years ago in my garden (I just couldn't let them go after Christmas). Most of them didn't survive as the caterpillars ate them, but I have one that did and last week the leaves turned red and it looks beautiful!
I wish you and your family a Beautiful Christmas full of peace and love!
Hugs,
Charlotte

Love this poinsettia Michelle...this is the only kind I can have in my house as I would drown it if it was real....I tend to overdue it!!!! LOL Wishing you joy and happiness during this Christmas season and a very healthy happy New Year to you and your family. I am so blessed to be a part of this team and to be able to call you all my friends.
