Friends in the Garden ~ The Next Level Challenge

Here is my very first submission for The Next Level , a new group of fun friends with some very unique and most definitely challenging ideas. I've had this little guy carrying flowers for about a year and have never gotten around to stamping him! I bought him because he reminds me of when my two older sons were small. Now my oldest will be 18 this summer and my second son is 16 and currently in Driver's Ed. (Where did the time go?!) At least I still have one little guy, but he's already 10 and growing like a weed!
SUPPLIES: I've used some really neat "wood" given to me by my very sweet friend, Sue. This really is wood, but it is as thin as paper. As you can see, I was able to sew through it with my sewing machine. Unbelievable! What a treat to use too! The dp is from "The Laundry Line" by My Minds Eye and Bazzill Bling for the blue background. I colored the image with SU inks and also Pearlescent paints, then layered the image and accented with glitter in the flowers.

Wow girl!! This is awesome!! I love what you did with this sketch!! Cute image and fab coloring and design!! Wish I had to play with it but right now I am dealing with a flooded basement where my craft room is. I have been cleaning and discarding items. The worst part is that the water is still coming and the rain just won't stop. Oh well...Just wanted to pop over and say hi!

Wow!! Fabulous job on this sketch Michelle. I really like the way you didn't make it a semi circle, but rather used the leaf outline. Very original. That is a really sweet image also.
