I've had this really great SU set for a few years and since I'm on an "Ocean Themed" kick I decided to pull it out and play with it. I took a stained glass course back in my high school years and this set just really reminded me of stained glass art. I love stained glass and how it holds the colors and is translucent at the same time. It fact, my senior year in high school, we were assigned to write a term paper about any subject of our choice and I chose the history of stained glass. I still adore it and worked at it for a couple years, but didn't really take to cutting my fingers with every little "oops". With this card I've followed the MOJO84 layout.
This card's colors just also happened to fit this weeks EtstyInspired #34 challenge too. Check out Ashley's blog for more fun inspiration and information on how to play. I layered the image for a 3D effect and used my pearlescent paints so it shimmers in the light. There are multiple layers of paper, ribbon and machine sewing.
