A Garden of Friends

I've just finished up this card. It took several days of only having time to do bits and pieces here and there.

This is a really sweet set from Stampin Up that I picked up at a Rubber Stamp show this past November. The Stampin Up Gals had a table there with used and discontinued sets at bargin prices. Needless to say, I bought a bunch! I'm only just now getting to use them. I colored the image using watercolor paints, added little hints of glitter and then popped the little girls for a 3 dimensional look. I've also machine stitched the borders on the front and inside of the card.

This is the inside of the card. The little plaque says it all. I used die cuts by Sizzix and ribbon purchased from a craft store to embellish inside and out. I really like the effect of the die cuts here. It sort of reminds me of a garden arbor.
