Life takes over....

Hi. It's brand new week at Midnight Madness and for the first time since it's inception last May, I do not have a card to show you. I was called away to Grand Junction, CO last week. My dad had emergency surgery due to a condition he did not realize he has called Peripheral Artery Disease. Sadly, he lost his right leg above the knee to this silent and scary disease. He is a 23 year veteran of the Marine Corps and at 72 years old, in the mid-stages of Alzheimer's, this it the last thing I ever thought would happen to my Dad. He will be in the VA Hospital for several weeks to have physical therapy and God willing, he will be able to adjust to this turn of events in his life. I'm back home now and once I've regrouped and recharged, I will hopefully have something to share with all of you next week. Take care and have a great week.

Hi Michelle,

I am so very sorry to hear about your Father's leg. How very scary, a silent disease that you didn't even know about.

You are both in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your Father is doing well now, considering.

Blessings,
~Tonya

Hey Michelle, I have been praying for you and your family. I didn't know you were back as it has been quiet with MMSC emails. Just wanted to let you know I have been thinking of you and have missed you.

Bear Hugs,
