Flower Power ~ MMSC47

Hi All! Welcome to week #47 of the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenges! As you can see, I skipped the stamping and coloring part this week and went straight to the embellishing part! I bought these luscious Shabby Chic Prima Flowers from M5D and they just didn't want to be anything but "Star of the Show" this week. LOL! They really are Gorgeous! So I textured, layered, stitched and distressed to my heart's content on the rest of this card. Oh yeah, and the lacing effect is done with sewn on bugle beads from my long ignored bead stash! I made the envelope using Priscilla's Thick-style envelope template. So EASY to use! :)
Once again, it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Remember to click on the sneak peek button on the side bar for the following weeks sketch each Friday.

Dear Michelle~

What a gorgeous spring card! I love your Prima flower, of course!
I love how you let it be what it wanted to be...the "Star of the Show!"

I must confess, I like what you have done with the rest of the card as much as the flower alone! I love your swiss dots, and your threading, the flourishes are just beautiful! They look like wonderful green leaves in a whimsical way. Your distressed dp is fabulous. Love--love the bright colors on this card...that tiny bit of yellow just pops! Love your attention to detail with those tiny white dots in the center.

Your envelope is just so beautiful. Again, Love the flourishes and those hot pink pearls are great against the spring or sumer greens.

Traci S.

Michelle what nice bright spring colors on your fabulous card. I love the stunning flower and how you attached the frilly flourishes to it. The embossing adds the right touch to make this exciting and glamorous. You always have something to inspire me on your blog.

Michelle, you have created a wonderful sight for the eyes this week (and every week for that matter)But the absents of an image really complimented the flower and textures on this sketch. Wonderful job my friend :)
