Christmas in the Forest ~ MMSC28

MMSC28 ~ Welcome everyone! I hope your week has gotten off the a great start. We are suddenly experiencing very frigid weather here in the Southwest. It didn't even get up to 40 degrees yesterday, and that's cold for this neck of the woods! Speaking of woods, my card/plaque this week features a classic SU stamp with an angel in the woods surrounded by all of her forest freinds. :) I had so much fun working this sketch, I actually made 7 of these! And since they all came back home with me from my local craft show last weekend, I'll be giving them as Christmas gifts to friends and family... I actually planned for several of them to be gifts anyways. I'm not concerned that they didn't sell since I always craft for my own enjoyment and I had my fun! LOL!
And now for the BIG NEWS. From this week's sketch challenge, each of the Design Team members will be choosing a card from this week's entries to be featured on their blog during the Blog Hop. So along with doing the regular sketch challenge, we are asking you to make a "CHRISTMAS CARD" this week. One of our lovely Design Team members will be contacting you after the close of the challenge to let you know that your card has been chosen to be featured on their blog for our Christmas Blog Hop. You will need to participate in the Blog Hop to have your name put in a drawing for a special prize at the end of the Hop. Please let your Design Team Hostess know that you will be able to attend the Blog Hop to be eligible to win the prize.

Michelle, I am amazed that you didn't sell all of them. If I would have been there I would have bought several. I think that the non traditional colors are beautiful. I also love your image and all of your embellishments. I think that you rocked the sketch this week. Your work is always so beautifully done!

This is gorgeous, Michelle!!! Craft shows are tough to sell at and get what your cards are worth...especially ones as beautifully detailed and as highly premium that your cards are. So much work, time and effort into each creation. They are a piece of art...each and every one of them. Hope you will do better when the economy picks up some. This card is just stunning. Anyone would just adore to get a card like this!!!!

Hello Michelle, Glad you didn't let the craft fair get you down I used to sell other handcrafted items through those and it got harder and harder for me to sell in that way. This card is enchanting and they will make a lovely gift. Jane
