Just Wanted to Share :)

We've just finished up our annual New Mexico State Fair last weekend. I entered a few of my cards this year just for fun. Was I ever excited to receive these Blue Ribbons! So, I thought I'd share the cards I entered into our fair. :)
The Mermaid card was entered in the "All Occasion" category.
The Mouse was entered in the "Birthday" category.
And my Koala was entered in the "Altered Project" category.
***********************************************
Of course, I'm SOOOO much more proud of my son, Nick's accomplishment!
My son, Nick decided at the last minute to enter his "Waste Management" Lego garbage truck into the "City & Town" category of the Lego competition. Much to his surprise, he just tore it up!!! His truck, made from his own ideas, (NOT a kit from the store) won BEST OF SHOW!!!

Congratulations -- it looks like it's time for major celebrations in your household!

Beautiful cards; your colors are so elegant and the stitching is very intricate detail.

Your son has a bright future as an engineer -- I'm so impressed that he created his truck from scratch!!

Wow, it's a BLUE RIBBON family! Not 1 or 2 or even 3 but 4!!!!! That's incredible! But deserved on all fronts. Your son's truck is more than impressive! Congratulations to both of you. Hope you left a ribbon or 2 for somebody else! (just kidding!)
