I decided to tried my hand at this week's Esty Inspired Challenge #31. It's "art inspiring art" and I'm finding these to be so fun! This weeks inspiration artist is "Make Mine Mud by Little Miss Pottery". You'll find a lot of really nice pottery in her shop. It was all so pretty that I had a hard time deciding which piece I wanted use for my inspiration.
But then, after looking all through her shop, I came across her beautiful Heart Pendant and fell in love with it! I sure hope I've done it justice. :) I've stamped the heart and embossed with white embossing powder, then put a little iridescent glitter onto the swirls. I've layered and glittered my nesties to emulate the colors in the pendant as closely as possible. The background is textured Bazzill Bling paper. I added a pretty bit of green ribbon and then stitched around the border a couple of times. Hop on over to Ashley's blog and scroll down to her April 11th post to see all of the awesome interpretations of this amazing Etsy artist. I just love how everyone is inspired by another's art!

I think that this is just beautiful. I really love your dry embossing. I can never emboss my image frames deep enough to achieve the result that you have. Wonderful job!
Michelle, this is so beatuiful! The colors, the embossing, the stitching...all just so perfect for this challenge! A fab take!
